Guitar and Vocals

Born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas. Started playing guitar at 17. Have been engulfed by the idea of making music ever since. Co-founder of the original rock band Decibel Fluid. I love to write music, simply put.  I think of writing music as a gift, almost as if a higher being is talking thru me. And I leave it at that, without questioning it. Every individual grows; and if that individual is a musician, then the music they write will grow with them. Although, every musician also will keep their "own sound" thru the entire process. My ultimate goal is to touch people thru the music, give them something they can relate to, something to beleive in, and to be an influence on others. Also survivng comfortably solely on being a musician.

THINGS I HATE: Arguing about endless subjects, people that hit on my girlfriend, people that tell me I'm not a true christian because I play in clubs, people that take credit for things they didn't contribute to, people that kiss ass to work themselves up the social ladder.

THINGS I LIKE: All whom support the music, Fred Sanford, being in the company of old friends, Baseball, Golf, having money in my pockets, catching a groove and riding the hell out of it! More than anyhing, people that follow their dreams.

GEAR: I play Fender Strats. My Voodoo Strat is loaded with Rio Grande RWRP Muey Grande's. My other Strat is my 1st guitar which is a '95 model with a left handed tremelo and is equiped with Seymour Duncan Texas Hot Antiquity series pickups. I've recently downsized on my pedals and decided to strip down as much as possible. Sometimes "less is more". Brand new to the family is a Core diamond-plated pedalboard. The pedals start with a boss TU-12H Tuner, which runs into my main gain pedal the Klon Centaur(holy grail of all overdrives), which runs into an Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer(extra gain for solos), and last a Vox Wah!! As far as the amp goes, it's was originally a Fender Vibro-King, which i think has been discontinued from the Custom Shop. It has been completely overhauled by my good friend Dan Moser at The Amp Room. He put in a Kendrick output transformer, and loaded it up with 2 original 1967 C10P Jensen speakers and the other is a 1966 C10P Jensen(All 3 speakers are 10"). There are several other things modified including all the tubes, removed the reverb tank, and everything in between; even down to changing the color of the front light bulb!!!
